- The IMATU National Special Recruitment Campaign is running from 1 July – 31 August 2019.
- The IMATU National Shop Stewards Recruitment Campaign will be running from 1 February – 30 November 2019.
- All parties signed the Salary and Wage Collective Agreement on 16 August 2018. The multi-year (three years) Agreement applies to the period 1 July 2018 – 30 June 2021.
- With effect from 1 July 2019, adjustments in terms of Year 2 of the Salary and Wage Collective Agreement, will be as follows:
|1||Salary Increase||6.5% across the board.|
|2||Minimum Wage||Increases by 6.5% to R7 839.31|
|3||Home Owners Allowance||Increases by 6.5% to R907.77|
|4||Gap Market Employees||The GAP market non-pensionable allowance increases by 6.5% to R372.75|
|5||Medical Aid Subsidy||The maximum medical aid subsidy increases by 6.5% to R4 492.35. This means that the medical aid subsidy is 60% of the medical aid monthly premium to a maximum of R4 492.35|
|6||Linked Benefits and Conditions of Service||Increases by same rate as the salary increase in each financial year.|
